Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW)
The CCRW is a Canada-wide network of organizations and individuals. Their mission is to promote and support meaningful and equitable employment of people with disabilities.
Council of Canadians with Disabilities (CCD)
CCD advocates improving the lives of men and women with disabilities in Canada by eliminating inequality and discrimination.
Family Village
An awesome website. Be sure to check out the library, which offers comprehensive information about both diagnoses and issues. The family village centre includes resources for - among others - foster parents, grandparents and single parents.
Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
The ODSP is intended to meet the needs of people with disabilities and help them to become more independent through income and employment supports.
Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
The objective of the ADP is to financially assist Ontario residents with long-term physical disabilities to obtain basic, competitively priced, personalized assistive devices.
Special Needs Planning Group
The Group's purpose is to assist families in establishing plans that will provide their family members with a disability with a decent quality of life for their entire lifetime.
