Welcome to the services section of our website. Where would you like to begin?
Although we present our services here in categories and by program, it is important to point out that the supports that we provide are not mutually exclusive. All of our staff work together - across teams and across programs - to deliver the best of service to the people we support and to advance our mission.
Adults
Please choose the service that is of interest to you:

- Almost Home Respite House - Almost Home is a place for children and adults with intellectual challenges to stay when their families need a break.
- Day Supports - This program makes daytime activities available to the people we support.
- Family Connections Caregiver's Registry - This is a directory of screened caregivers available to provide respite.
- Foundations Program - Foundations helps young people aged 21 to 28 with the transition from high school to independent living.
- Independent Living - The Independent Living program assists individuals to gain supported independence at home and at work.
- Job Quest - Job Quest gives people who have a disability the power to enter or re-enter the workforce and to access the supports that they require to be successful.
- Jobs 'R' Us - A division of Community Living Kawartha Lakes, Jobs 'R' Us provides a variety of small business services.
- Supportive Housing - Our Supportive Housing services provide assistance to adults in apartment and group home settings.
- Tri-County Family Home - The Tri-County Family Home service provides an opportunity for the adults we support to live in a family unit by matching them with screened family home providers.

Youth

- Almost Home Respite House - Almost Home is a place for children, young people and adults with intellectual challenges to stay when their families need a break.
- Building Bridges - Building Bridges helps young people (17 to 21 years of age) with an intellectual disability to develop a plan for life after graduation.
- Family Connections Caregiver's Registry - This is a directory of screened caregivers available to provide respite.
- Foundations Program - Foundations helps young people aged 21 to 28 with the transition from high school to independent living.
- Job Quest - Job Quest gives people who have a disability the power to enter or re-enter the workforce and to access the supports that they require to be successful.
- K.U.R.E. (Kids Understanding Respect Everywhere) - K.U.R.E. facilitates high school students to take a leadership role and actively promote inclusion and acceptance in their school communities.
- Teens on the Go! - Teens on the Go! is a recreation and leisure group for teens and young adults with intellectual challenges.

Children

- Almost Home Respite House - Almost Home is a place for children and adults with intellectual challenges to stay when their families need a break.
- Day Nurseries Resource Funding Program - This initiative provides funding to childcare centres so that they can hire additional staff to support children with special needs.
- Family Connections Caregiver's Registry - This is a directory of screened caregivers available to provide respite.
- Kids Together - Kids Together offers hands on support to children with special needs (aged 2 to 14) who are enrolled in the Kawartha Lakes Boys and Girls Club summer camp.
- Preschool Resource Program - Early Childhood Resource Consultants assist children up to six years old who have identified delays in their development.
